Founded in December 1986 and opened for business in February 1987, Business Interiors' start was modest with only three employees. We've since achieved immense growth and have become a MillerKnoll Certified Dealer and the exclusive partner of Falkbuilt. Our 37 years of experience comes with the understanding that every project has unique requirements and that the best results arise from listening to and understanding the client's needs. We now employ over 100 people, serve customers across the United States, work with clients in a variety of markets, and offer product solutions from over 300 manufacturers.

Alan Pizzitola founded Business Interiors at the end of 1986 and officially opened the doors in early 1987. The company that he started with only two other employees and one location has now grown to over 100 employees in six locations and is a Certified MillerKnoll Dealer Partner, as well as the exclusive partner of Falkbuilt.
Outside of Alan's business career, he was remarkably successful on the football field. The Birmingham native walked on for the Alabama Crimson Tide as a freshman safety in 1972 and went on to win the Lee Roy Jordan Headhunter Award, earn a full scholarship, be a member of the 1973 national championship team, and make the first-team All-SEC team. His grit and determination to succeed defined his career on and off the field, and it made him one of the most widely respected people in our industry, throughout the United States and beyond.
Alan was many things to Business Interiors—Founder, President, and Salesperson—but more so he was a great mentor and dedicated partner, a loyal friend, and a man intensely devoted to his family. The positive impacts of his life are immeasurable, and we proudly remember his legacy.
